Fun shoot and lots of iced tea, making everyone hyper in the studio. Loved shooting these two images. I had just received some new Einstein 640 lights for the studio from Paul C. Buff and used them for this project. The lights were awesome all around, fast , easy to use and powerful. The challenge is often to recreate the image you, or the client, have in mind. Often starting with a rough sketch I always try to pre-visualize as much as possible and come into the studio as prepared as possible.
For me the difference between having a clear idea of what and how you are about to shoot a product, even before you set the camera is enormous. I can spend my day looking for the shot or constructing it from my sketch. So these were pretty straight forward. We styled the tea endlessly with fresh mint nut in the end I like the simple clean, warm and inviting look of these photographs.
